From Waste Connections regarding service this week:
"Safety is our Number One Operational Value! If you have been paying attention to the news the weather forecast is saying, there is going to be a Cold Weather Advisory and there is a good chance we will get up to 3 to 8 inches of snow tonight and Tuesday. Our plan is to continue service as normal, but there is a chance that we may have to delay services to keep our drivers and communities safe.
We should know tomorrow morning before 6am if we have to cancel service. If we cancel services on Tuesday February 18th or the following day due to the extreme weather, we will delay and provide all services one day behind for the rest of the week as we’ve done in the past. Please make sure you have everyone leave their carts out at the curb.
If weather conditions continue to prevent us from providing service for more than one day during the same week, it is not possible to make up two days of service. We will have to wait until the next regular service day the following week to provide trash service."

Please help us pass the word that walking out on the frozen mill race is not a good idea. The ice formations are not consistent and could lead to serious injury if the ice gives way. This is a dangerous situation, so please help us spread the word. Thanks!
